General News: Record Audience for South Park "Trapped in the Closet" on The Comedy Network

Last Friday night's (Jan. 27) broadcast of the highly anticipated South Park episode "Trapped in the Closet" averaged 343,000 viewers during the 9:30 - 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot on The Comedy Network. Nielsen Media Research confirms that the episode attracted a 166% increase over the season-to-date average. "Trapped in the Closet," a spoof of Tom Cruise and The Church of Scientology, is the third most-watched South Park episode ever broadcast on The Comedy Network.
