PBS in conjunction with Wildheart Entertainment announced today the greenlighting of a major new television series, ON RECORD: THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, an eight-hour series that traces the history of recorded music and its impact on popular culture. Featuring hundreds of artists from all genres of music, ON RECORD: THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES is slated to air nationally as a primetime series in the Fall of 2010 on PBS; Sir George Martin, legendary producer of the Beatles, will host. Two-time Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey will narrate.

Hearst Corporation and Canada’s Corus Entertainment Inc. have partnered on a strategic joint venture to bring Cosmopolitan Television to Canada. Inspired by Cosmopolitan, the world’s best-selling young women’s magazine, the 24-hour digital channel for women will launch in early 2008. Cosmopolitan TV Canada joins Cosmopolitan Television networks in Spain and throughout Latin America.

| General News: CanWest MediaWorks To Bring E! to Canada |

The broadcast division of CanWest MediaWorks today announced an exclusive agreement with E! Networks to license and manage the E! brand and content in Canada. On September 1, 2007, CanWest will bring one of the world’s definitive entertainment brands to Canadians across multiple platforms including broadcast, online, mobile, video-on-demand and satellite radio. As part of this agreement, CanWest’s current CH Network will be rebranded as E! beginning this fall.

| General News: TFO Achieves Autonomy April 1, 2007 |

A new era for TFO, Ontario's French-language public educational media organization, will begin April 1, 2007. As announced today by Education Minister Kathleen Wynne, TFO will officially become an autonomous Franco-Ontarian institution, independent from The Ontario Education Communications Authority (TVOntario), which also operates English-language TVO.

CBC Country Canada is pleased to present exclusive Canadian coverage of the Rolex FEI World CupTM from the Goteborg Horse Show in Sweden on Saturday, March 3rd at 2 p.m. ET(same-day repeats at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET; next-day repeats Sunday, March 4th at 12 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET). The digital channel will also air the final event of the lead-up to the World Cup from The Netherlands on March 31st followed by the Rolex FEI World CupTM Finals from Las Vegas in April.

Two of Canada’s most respected production companies have announced at KIDSCREEN a new co-venture to develop, produce and distribute new children’s television series and family movies. Arnie Zipursky Co-Chairman and CEO and Jim Corston Exec. VP of Production of CCI Entertainment and Tom Cox and Jordy Randall, Managing Partners of SEVEN24 Films (formerly Alberta Filmworks) announced that they will combine their production and distribution capabilities to produce several new properties over the next three years.

| General News: Producers win; Court upholds need for arbitration |

The Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA) is pleased with the Ontario Superior Court decision in favour of the producer's request for the appointment of an arbitrator. The CFTPA asked the Court to appoint an Arbitrator compelling ACTRA to abide by the Negotiating Protocol contained in the Independent Production Agreement (IPA). This decision preserves the Agreement that has served both parties for over 40 years.
