Rogers OMNI Television today announced that it has awarded $10,000 in development money to Dominika Dittwald and Margarita Semadeni of Dolce Vista International for their pitch "Famous Players." Effective Wednesday, October 13th, both OMNI.1 and OMNI.2 will be broadcasting in High Definition Television (HDTV), with their signals available exclusively via Rogers (Cable) Television. Channels allocated on the HD tier are 275 for OMNI.1 and 276 for OMNI.2.
Two Toronto area stations will get to extend their broadcast reach to London and Ottawa. Viewers in those markets will soon be able to watch OMNI.2 and CTS over-the-air without cable or satellite.
