Illustrating its continuing commitment to the Canadian television production industry, Shaw Media announced today that it has 15 new scripted dramas planned for the next year – more than any other Canadian broadcaster. This ongoing focus on outstanding Canadian productions, co-productions and partnerships delivered record audiences during the 2010/11 season with homegrown programs Rookie Blue, Lost Girl and The Kennedys.

Grace TV has taken a large step forward. On June 1st, 2009 World Impact Ministries (WIM) purchased The Christian Channel (TCC), the largest 24/7 Christian TV-channel in Canada. At the time of purchase TCC covered 30 % of English Canadian households. The channel was renamed Grace TV in September 2009, and it has added a thousand or more homes every week. Grace TV is pleased to launch on Shaw Digital TV, channel 166.

In a move that will anger and frustrate its more than 2.1 million customers, Shaw Communications Inc. is currently offering its entire TV line-up, including high-definition TV (HDTV), phone and high-speed Internet services to current Novus customers for $9.95 per month, each. The offer - not available to Shaw customers outside of the Novus service area - is being challenged by Novus Entertainment Inc. (Novus) at the Competition Bureau and in the BC Supreme Court.

| Providers News: Shaw Affiliate to Acquire Mountain Cablevision |

Shaw Communications Inc. (“Shaw”) today announced that an affiliate has entered into an agreement to acquire Mountain Cablevision Limited (“Mountain Cablevision”), subject to CRTC and Toronto Stock Exchange approvals. The consideration will consist of cash and may also include the issuance of Class B Non-Voting Participating Shares of Shaw and further details regarding the transaction will be provided following receipt of the
necessary approvals.
