 New TV channels Watch

Fine Living was launched on September 3rd. All major digital cable and both satellite providers will carry the channel like Rogers (188), Starchoice (565), Shaw (130), ExpressVu (607) and Videotron (149). Click here to see the complete list.
Also launching in september/october is three category one channels (mandatory carriage for cable & satellite). One of them is RDS Info-Sport, french equivalent of The Score. (Launches October 21st, 2004)
The other two french channels launching september 30th are Canal Mystère and LCN Argent. Both channels will officially launch in january 2005 so expect a stripped down version until then.
It was announced that Télé Ha ! Ha ! and Perfecto will never launch.
Rumors are floating around that Teletoon might launch Teletoon Retro soon. It seems the company have acquired a lot of "Classic" shows.
The official word is "[...] at this time (Late september 2004) we can not
confirm the launch of TELETOON Retro as we're still in the process of exploring
the feasibility of launching this digital channel".
Since CHUM Limited proposed to buy all TV assets of Craig Media (A-Channel, Tonronto 1, MTV Canada. etc) it is rumored that Stampede, who was suppose to launch in 2004 might never launch.
NOTE: Please take note that the channel launch date and the availability on your cable or satellite carrier may differ (For example, Fine Living officially launched Sept. 3rd but Bell ExpressVu only added the channel at the end of septbember).
