The Inspector Lynley Mysteries Monday, April 14 at 9pm Based on the novels written by award-winning crime writer Elizabeth George, BBC Canada’s Monday Night Crime Doubles presents the network premiere of The Inspector Lynley Mysteries. Airing every Monday at 9 p.m. ET beginning, April 14, this eight-part contemporary whodunit series stars Nathaniel Parker (Vanity Fair), as the charismatic Inspector Thomas Lynley, a top cop who also happens to be the 8th Earl of Asherton.

Set in the United Kingdom, the Inspector Lynley series begins with the pairing of Lynley and Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers (Sharon Small, Glasgow Kiss). Brought together by Scotland Yard to solve a murder, sparks fly as the two detectives struggle to overcome the differences in their backgrounds.

After establishing a mutual respect, Lynley and Havers work side-by-side solving mysteries including the gruesome murder of a local farmer in the Yorkshire village of Kendale in the first episode called “A Great Deliverance.”

She was assessed for a double lung transplant in January 2001 and confronted with some harsh realities. The transplant is a high-risk procedure, with a survival rate of 50 percent after five years. Yet, without the transplant,Karen would die.Adventures in Breathing follows Karen’s journey from the time she signs the release to be put on the transplant list, through the eventual operation and recovery. It is a deeply personal account of how being a recipient has affected her life and the lives of those around her.

Brian Harris is finding Parkinson's disease impossible to live with. The disease has destroyed enough of the brain cells that control movement to freeze him rigid every morning.
