YTV Celebrates the New Fall Schedule with a Labour Day Jam-Packed with New Programming

Beat the heat this Labour Day with YTV as it airs sneak previews of new fall programming, and new episodes of favourite series o­n Monday, September 5 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids can get caught up o­n the new fall schedule as they pack their bags and get ready for the first day of school.

The Monday lineup includes the premiere episodes of the following new series: Catscratch; D.I.C.E.; Avatar; Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi; Unfabulous; Sabrina the Teenage Witch and The Fresh Prince of Bell Air, and new episodes of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius; My Life As A Teenage Robot; Danny Phantom; All Grown Up; SpongeBob SquarePants; Being Ian; 15/Love and Martin Mystery.

The line up features:

  • Blik and Gordon attempt to rescue their brother and instead get captured by the evil mouse Squeakus; it’s up to Waffle to overcome Squeakus’ mind games and save the day o­n Catscratch at 12:30 p.m. (Regular airtimes are Fridays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m.)
  • The Bio Plant o­n Planet Saffaron is collapsing and the total annihilation of the planet is o­nly minutes away o­n D.I.C.E at 2:30 p.m. With the world’s future at risk, DICE is dispatched and sent to their rescue. (Regular airtimes are Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m.)
  • In the special o­ne-hour presentation of the premiere episode of Avatar at 3 p.m., Katara and Sokka, a brother and sister from the Southern Water Tribe, discover a 12-year-old boy frozen in an iceberg. (Regular airtime is Saturdays at 11:30 a.m.)
  • On Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi at 4 p.m., Kaz finds Ami and Yumi’s so called number o­ne fan and she seems nice, until she starts following them everywhere they go! (Regular airtime is Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.)
  • It’s the first day of seventh grade and Addie’s looking forward to unveiling her new and improved image. She’ll start by not making a fool of herself at Randy Klein’s back to school party, something she’s unfortunately done since, well … ever. But this year she vows things will change o­n Unfabulous at 7 p.m. (Regular airtime is Mondays at 7 p.m.)
  • When Plankton slips and falls o­n some water at Krusty Krabs, he sues Mr. Krabs for failing to post a wet floor sign in the restaurant o­n SpongeBob SquarePants at 8 p.m. (NEW EPISODE)
  • Sabrina’s sweet sixteenth becomes a truly magical birthday o­n Sabrina the Teenage Witch at 8:30 p.m. when she finds out she’s half witch. (Regular airtimes are Mondays to Thursdays at 8:30 p.m.)
  • On The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air at 9:30 p.m., Will Smith is transplanted from the tough streets of Philadelphia to live with his wealthy relatives in Bel-Air, causing everyone to make major adjustments in their way of living and in their way of thinking. (Regular airtimes are Mondays at 9:30 p.m.; Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and Monday to Fridays at midnight).

    Treehouse also gets in the swing of things o­n Labour Day with the special presentation of Bob the Builder: The Big Plan. In preparation for the new series Bob the Builder: Project Build It!, launching September 17 at 11 a.m. (r) 4:30 p.m., this 50-minutes special sets up the new series as Bob moves to Sunflower Valley to embark o­n his biggest adventure yet—constructing an entire town from the ground up. Premiering Monday, September 5 at 5 p.m., in Bob the Builder: The Big Plan, when Bob hears about the plans to redevelop his favourite childhood town, Sunflower Valley, he decides to come to its rescue with a building plan that will incorporate elements of nature to preserve its natural beauty. Encore presentation of this special airs Saturday, September 10 at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

    Discovery Kids is even sneak peaking o­ne of its schedules new fall series o­n Labour Day with two back-to-back episodes of CG (Canadian Geographic) Kids. Starting at 5 p.m., in the first episode Ontario Ecology, Eldon suddenly realizes that air pollution around his office has become a real problem, so Sid and Idee set out to learn how some great ideas are being used to combat pollution in Canada’s most populated areas. In Prince Edward County airing at 5:30 p.m., when Eldon decides to save money by drawing a map of Prince Edward County, Sid and Idee get lost and have to figure out how to get there o­n their own.
