The original documentary, which aired just one month after Sept. 11, was the first to tell the true story of what came to be known as “The Hamburg Cell”.
Returning for its second season, THIS IS WONDERLAND, starring Cara Pifko, Michael Riley, Michael Healey and Siu Ta, airs Jan. 25 at 9 p.m. And, Canadians waiting patiently for the CANADIAN ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, hosted by Valerie Pringle, don’t have to wait much longer-it debuts Jan. 12 at 8 p.m.

CANADA’S WAR IN COLOUR is a compelling documentary series that tells the story of the Second World War using only original colour film, letters and diaries. Much of the film footage in the series has never been seen before. The first of three episodes airs Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. THE PASSIONATE EYE returns, celebrating its second season on CBC Television, with a selection of the best point-of-view personal documentaries Canada and the world have to offer. It begins Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. with Indecently Exposed!, which challenges Canadians’ attitudes towards Native Canadians.
LEGENDARY SIN CITIES exposes Paris (Feb. 1), Berlin (Feb. 8) and Shanghai (Feb. 15), between the First and Second World Wars, as you’ve never seen them before. These were cities where art, culture and personal freedoms flourished in an environment of steamy decadence and sexual promiscuity. The story is told through the lives of some of the cities most flamboyant, outrageous and dangerous citizens.
