Enough with surrendering to destiny already. For Jaye Tyler, it's time to start fighting fate. Eric, the man of her dreams, is about to leave town for good with his spiteful and adulterous wife Heidi. If Jaye doesn't tell Eric how she feels now, he'll be lost to her forever. So what if the toy bird told her to "let him go"? She's not going to listen to the animals anymore. And that's where Jaye's trouble begins, in the never-before-seen series finale of Wonderfalls, airing Monday, Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. ET on VisionTV. This critically acclaimed drama series stars Montreal's Caroline Dhavernas as Jaye, a disgruntled Niagara Falls gift shop clerk whose aimless life is transformed when animal toys and figurines begin talking to her. North Vancouver native Tyron Leitso co-stars as Eric, along with Katie Finneran, William Sadler, Diana Scarwid, Lee Pace and Tracie Thoms. Jewel Staite, from White Rock, B.C., guest stars as Heidi. VisionTV is the only Canadian broadcaster to carry the complete run of Wonderfalls, which was cancelled after a brief run on U.S. network television last spring. A DVD boxed set of the complete series is slated for release on Feb. 1.
