StarChoice adds Bloomberg TV, more channels still coming Providers News / Star Choice Posted by Fuzzy_Lionel on Dec 14, 2004 - 08:26 AM In an unexpected move, StarChoice has added Bloomberg TV to its channel lineup. Bloomberg is an American news station featuring american financial news, including NYSE and NASDAQ stock tickers. There has been no formal announcement of the addition of this new service which can be found on channel 510. The channel is currently available as a free preview and is expected to be available as a Pick-And-Play service much like MSNBC. There has been no announcement on the eventual cost of this service. In related news there is still no sign of the NewVI or CP24 to the available lineup. Both channels had been previously announced by StarChoice and are currently being mentioned on Channel 299. CP24 must be carried as a condition of StarChoice's licence. When both channels finally do launch they will be found on the dial at 389 (NewVI) and 509 (CP24). Additionally, Channel 283 has been dedicated to Movie Central HD and is, therefore, only available to subscribers west of the Ontario-Manitoba border.
