ACCESS and CLT celebrate Edmonton’s Centennial with EDMONTON: An Historic Journey, a journey through Edmonton’s exciting history. Board Edmonton Transit bus #432, with tour guide Cameron Malcolm and driver Ernie Bastide, for a tour of the past hundred years of community life in Edmonton.

Along the way stop at historically significant times and events such as the fur trade at Fort Edmonton, the famous Edmonton Grads basketball team, Alberta’s oil boom, the glory days of the Edmonton Eskimos and the Edmonton Oilers, and the development of the West Edmonton Mall.

Meet notable Edmontonians including: Olympic Gold medalist Lori-Ann Muenzer, former mayor Jan Reimer, author Mel Hurtig, former premier and Eskimos quarterback Don Getty, Deputy Prime Minister Ann McLellan, heroic pilot Wop May’s son Denny May, SCTV alumnus Dave Thomas, Olympic Champions Jamie Salé and David Pelletier, scientist and TV host John Acorn, and many more.

Tour the scenic river valley, visit beautiful older communities like Old Strathcona and Glenora, uncover the history behind refinery row, and explore the road noted in the Guinness Book of World Records as the street with the most churches -- Church Street in central Edmonton.
