Hosts Charlie Lubiniecki and Dagmar Midcap whisk mom away from her home and her children in this 13-part series. While mom enjoys a two-day luxury retreat, a substitute mom – one of three candidates nominated by mom and chosen by the hosts – replaces her and is left to cope with the meals, meltdowns and daily challenges that are part of raising children. Mom watches her family from afar via Web cam, providing insights and giving the substitute mom instructions when she sees her rules being carelessly ignored.
A Dog’s Life

Style Rivals

In each episode, well-known television hosts Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman (Design Rivals ) use their flair, urban chic and savvy know-how to help prepare the women for a splashy event. The twist? One woman will get a modest $500 budget while the other will get to splurge with a $2,000 budget. The challenge for Sabados and Hyndman will be to make them both look equally fabulous, whatever the cost, for the big event.

Life’s Little Miracles Holiday Special

The clock starts ticking as, two weeks before the holidays, the staff at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children make every effort to get the children back home. Oneyear- old Aidan and 19-year-old Dan are both hoping for a quick recovery from surgery; Ally, a 16-year-old who has been suffering from a lymphatic disorder for almost a year, is hoping a nurse will be available so she can make a 24-hour trip home to see her family tree on Christmas Eve; and, Brittany, who is hearing impaired, and her parents look forward to the surgery that will give her the only gift she wants – the ability to hear. Also meet Haley, a 17-year-old who needs an organ donation for a liver and pancreas transplant or she will die.
