CBC’s digital channel, bold, has exclusive coverage of the 2010 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling, where Canadian curlers prepare for the world stage. This January, bold will be home to exclusive, live coverage of The National from Guelph, Ont. (Jan. 8 and 9) and the BDO Classic Canadian Open from Winnipeg, Man. (Jan. 22 and 23).

Skins – Wednesdays, at 9 p.m. ET; new episodes begin Jan. 6
This award-winning teen drama takes bold viewers on the rollercoaster ride of adolescence.

Set in Bristol, England, the series follows a group of teenagers dealing with angst and confusion, love and despair, sex and sexuality, friendship and betrayal. What may seem like any teenager’s dream—a life with little adult supervision and lots of partying—turns quickly perilous as characters experiment with drugs and alcohol, commit arson, cope with abuse and turn to pornography. This uncompromising series was produced by Company Pictures, and created by father and son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Britain.
