Ring in the New Year with some fresh new programs on Citytv. Hopeful romantic Jake Pavelka sets out to prove that nice guys don’t always finish last in love on The Bachelor and set your New Years resolutions along with The Biggest Loser :Couples. Everyone’s favourite Friends reunite when Lisa Kudrow joins the cast of Cougar Town as Jules’s dermatologist. Plus, the world’s nerdiest secret agent Chuck - is back solving crimes, kicking butt, taking names and… selling electronics? The fun begins January 4 on Citytv!

The Bachelor Season 14 (s/ABC) Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT) ***Season Premiere***
In the season premiere episode Jake returns to the same Malibu mansion where he first met Jillian, to meet 25 gorgeous bachelorettes from across the U.S. As Jake greets each bachelorette, one charming woman confesses her fear of flying, and an alluring teacher causes a stir when she dons a revealing flight attendant's uniform and steals Jake away from an unsuspecting single mom. Then, an athletic hottie starts the first ever barefoot-in-eveningwear football scrimmage in Bachelor history! The competition intensifies when host Chris Harrison introduces the "first impression" rose, and announces a twist: the ladies must impress Jake AND last's season's happy couple - Jillian and Ed. The former Bachelorette and her fiancé join Jake to help him with his tough decision and share a special announcement. Finally, Jake must eliminate ten of the 25 women the first night, leaving 15 to compete for his affections, and in the end, his heart.

The Biggest Loser:Couples (s/NBC) Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT, 9pm MT)***Season Premiere***
Meet the newest participants in The Biggest Loser:Couples including Maria and Michael (Chicago, Illinois), an Italian mother-son duo who have always put others first while Michael's weight soared to 526 lbs., making him the heaviest contestant in Biggest Loser history, identical twins James and John (Orlando, Florida), who together weigh close to half a ton, Tongan cousins Sam and Koli (Rohnert Park, California), who hope to inspire others in their culture like Sione and Filipe Fa did in season seven, and Cherita (Houston, Texas), a competitive mother who has already beat cancer and is ready to take on obesity along with her determined daughter, Vicky. Alison Sweeney hosts the series and contestants work out under the supervision of trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels.

Cougar Town (s/ABC) Wednesday, January 6 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30pm CT, 10:30pm MT)
Despite fearing the meanest and most unrelenting dermatologist in town, Dr. Amy Evans (guest star Lisa Kudrow), Jules (Courteney Cox) and Ellie (Christa Miller) are willing to endure the harsh ridicule and wrath for an appointment with the best in the business. But when Jules learns Dr. Evans is seeing Bobby (Brian Van Holt), she’s determined to stand up to her and protect him.

Chuck (s/NBC) Sunday, January 10 at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 7pm MT) ***Season Premiere***
Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), continues as the Buy More electronics store computer geek, who unwittingly becomes the government's most vital secret agent. Chuck is transformed into the Intersect 2.0 after another data download into his brain. This time, he not only knows government secrets, he is equipped with deadly fight skills. Now, Chuck has the potential to become a real agent, providing he can keep his emotions in check! As Chuck assumes his new role as the Intersect 2.0, Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and agent Sarah Walker, a.k.a Chuck’s dream girl (Yvonne Strahovski) continue to protect him and help him become the agent he is destined to be. Chuck episode 2 will air Monday, January 11 at 7pm ET/PT/MT (6pm CT). Starting January 17, Chuck will air Sundays at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT/MT) on Citytv.
