PRIME Airs A Three's Company Marathon! Articles / Prime Posted by RAD on Sep 15, 2003 - 01:57 PM The comedic talent of the late John Ritter is the focus of a Three's Company Marathon on PRIME. The marathon will feature six back-to-back episodes of one of television's favourite comedies and will air on Friday September 19 beginning at 7:00pm. Set in Santa Monica, California, Three's Company tells the story of two contemporary young, single women, Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt) and Chrissie Snow (Suzanne Somers), who share an apartment with an attractive and eligible young man, Jack Tripper (John Ritter) in order to beat the high cost of living. Although the relationship among the three is strictly platonic, the landlords are so suspicious of the threesome's arrangement that they would not permit it until after Jack tells them he is gay. Three's Company ran from 1977 to 1984. The Three's Company Marathon will air on Friday September 19 beginning at 7:00pm.
