In a somwhat surprise announcement Shaw and CHUM have come to an agreement which will see Court TV Canada commence broadcasting on Star Choice and Shaw Digital Cable. This will be the first of CHUM's tier two digital services to be made available to Shaw's digital customers. Court TV Canada is one of the most popular of the new digi-nets which began broadcasting in 2001 but was never added to any of Shaw's digital services. At the time of its launch some of Shaw's services were already carrying the American version of Court TV. This service was discontinued soon after. When Court TV Canada begins braodcasting on July 31st, consumers can look forward to a two month free preview. At the completion of the preview period Court TV Canada will join the "Your Life" bundle on Star Choice.
