SportsNet Offers Expanded Leafs Coverage in 2008-2009

The Official Broadcaster of the Leafs has expanded its Leafs coverage and is now available in an area spanning from Petawawa in the North to Kingston in the East. This change means that more fans will be able to access Sportsnet Ontario> '> s 28-game Leaf broadcast schedule, featuring more games than any other broadcaster. All telecasts will be available in high definition on Sportsnet HD.

Viewers will get their first chance to experience Sportsnet Ontario's expanded coverage on September 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET when Toronto hosts the Coca-Cola Zero Fans First Game, a free pre-season tilt, for 20,000 fans, against the Buffalo Sabres.
Sportsnet televises more regular-season hockey games than any other broadcaster in Canada, featuring Canadian teams in their home markets, The Hockey That Matters. Sportsnet will release its Leafs regular season schedule in the upcoming weeks.
