Canadian auto racing fans are gearing up for the big race this weekend, as the IndyCar Series makes its debut in Canada with the inaugural Rexall Edmonton Indy, live on TSN and TSN HD on Saturday, July 26 at 5 p.m. ET.

In addition, SportsCentre will have features and highlights leading up to and following Saturday's race, including qualifying and race action.

The Edmonton Indy is the first IndyCar Series race north of the border since the Indy Racing League absorbed the Champ Car World Series earlier this year.

Canadian fan favourite Paul Tracy, of Scarborough, Ont., returns to racing action as a member of the Vision Racing team that also includes driver A.J. Foyt IV. Tracy joins Marty Roth of Toronto as the only other Canadian driver officially entered in this year's race.

The field for the Edmonton Indy features the top North American open-wheel drivers including IndyCar Series points leader and 2008 Indianapolis 500 champion Scott Dixon, and Danica Patrick who will be looking for her second career victory. The race takes place at the 3.154 km track at the Edmonton City Centre Airport.
