Silva, described as pound-for-pound the best mixed martial arts fighter in the world, will move up in weight class for the first time when he jumps from middleweight (171-185 lb / 77-84 kg) to light heavyweight (186-205 lb / 84-93 kg) in his fight with Irvin.
