Flashpoint first aired on CTv and was also picked up by CBS. this was the first time since Due South that a show produced in Canada (by Pink Sky Entertainment and Avamar Entertainment) and is now ready for International distribution. Alchemy and Tele Munchen will handle the international distribution of this program. FLASHPOINT is a high-stakes ensemble police drama about a team of elite cops that handle the calls ordinary cops can’t. Highly trained in swat tactics and psychology, this specialized unit uses state-of-the-art weaponry – sniper rifles, snake-cameras, and robotics – along with expert negotiating tactics, to take down – or talk down – hostage-takers, terrorists, and bomb-makers and delve deeply into the psychology of the human beings at the center of each week’s flashpoint.
