Bell Canada and The Score Television Network today announced the addition of The Score HD for all Expressvu HDTV subscribers, available as a free preview for the next several months on channel 845.

"High Definition continues to grow in popularity, especially with sports fans across Canada," said Kevin Crull, President, Bell residential services. “With more than 60 HD channels, Bell continues to offer more HD programming than any other digital TV provider in Canada, delivering an unmatched portfolio of new and exciting entertainment.”

The Score HD now broadcasts its entire Toronto Raptors schedule in High Definition. In addition, The Score broadcasts Barclays Premier League soccer game of the week on Sundays and a majority of its NBA line-up in native HD. The Score continues to invest in a new HD studio and infrastructure that will bring more HD content to the channel.

“We are pleased that more of our hardcore sports fans are going to be able to view some of the best live event sports programming in all of its HD glory on ExpressVu digital TV from Bell,” said David Errington, SVP and General Manager, The Score Television Network.

Bell is the only TV provider in Canada offering the Full HD experience with superior HD picture quality, the most HD channels and the best HD receiver. In addition to delivering the most HD channels, Bell is also offering the industry leading 9242 HD PVR.

The 9242 HD PVR receiver is capable of recording up to 30 hours of HD content and 200 hours of standard definition (SD) programming, the most of any HD provider in Canada. With a 9242 receiver from Bell, you’ll never miss a moment of the action on The Score HD as you can pause live TV, fast forward and fast reverse at four speeds, skip forward or back, plus view in slow motion.
