Super Channel is pleased to announce an agreement with IMG Media offering IMG's original television programming on Canada's only national pay television network.

Launched Nov. 2 on Bell ExpressVu, Super Channel will offer viewers a selection of IMG programming including Gamer.tv, the world's leading weekly magazine show for video game enthusiasts. Gamer.tv mixes reviews, news, previews and features for video games, an industry that many consider the 'fourth pillar' of the entertainment world, alongside movies, music and television, with more than $30 billion spent per year on games.

"Our agreement with IMG highlights Super Channel's commitment to changing the way viewers think of pay TV in Canada," said Sandy Perkins, Super Channel Vice-president, Programming. "Connecting the gaming world with today's television entertainment makes the medium much more than a passive experience. Offering yet even more programming that Canadians simply can't get anywhere else makes Super Channel a whole new television experience."

"IMG Media is pleased to be working with Super Channel to provide programming as they offer an exciting viewing choice to Canadians," said Glenn Young, Vice President, IMG Media. "As the world's largest independent distributor of sports programming and live events, and a leader in multi-genre content, IMG Media is looking forward to literally bringing the world to Super Channel and its viewers."

Viewers will be able to enjoy IMG Media produced comedies, drama and factual entertainment including Benidorm, a critically acclaimed comedy series that reached audience figures of nearly six million in Britain; Ruddy Hell! It's Harry and Paul, a comedy sketch series featuring Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse, two of Britain's biggest names in comedy; Roman's Empire, a hilarious series about a self-made multi-millionaire and his rule over his business empire and home; Bollywood Bosses, a series chronicling today's Bollywood industry, King of Miami, which follows comedian Dave Hill and his hilarious bid to become the King of Miami; and Trollywood, an edgy documentary exposing the flip side of the American Dream.
