Attention all Avatar fans: season three of the popular Nickelodeon series will premiere this fall as part of Hyper Action Fridays, beginning Friday, September 21 at 5 p.m. in YTV’s fresh, new after-school block The Zone.
Avatar is an anime-inspired epic set in a fantastical Asian land and follows the journey of Aang, a reluctant young hero who must lead the fight against the evil Fire Nation to restore balance in his war-torn world. With 13 episodes rolling out this September and another 13 scheduled to debut spring 2008, fans will have lots of Avatar in the months to come.
Viewers can check out other favourites such as Naruto, Inuyasha and new episodes of Bleach – just to name a few – in YTV’s programming block Bionix every Friday evening from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday evenings from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
