New programming offerings on BBC Kids are Our Hero, Lockie Leonard, Boogie Beebies, the sixth season of My Hero and The Raven.

Our Hero
Network Premiere – 26 x 30min
Weekdays at 7:30 p.m ET & Sundays at 5pm ET beginning September 3
Seventeen-year-old Kale Stiglic is navigating the rapids of life's rockiest years with insight and humour. According to Kale, when something humiliating happens, you have to laugh about it -- and that's exactly what she does with Our Hero, a little photocopied 'zine' which she writes, illustrates and mails out “for the catharsis of me and the amusement of others."

Lockie Leonard
Canadian Premiere – 26 x 30min
Weekdays at 4 p.m. ET beginning September 3
Lockie Leonard and his family just moved to the most remote town on earth, Angelus. For Lockie this is a total disaster: no friends, new school and a house that is in serious danger of disappearing into a swamp. But then Lockie spots the one thing that makes it all OK, this weird little town has the best surf he has ever seen.

Boogie Beebies
North American Premiere – 25 x 15min
Weekdays at 8:30 a.m. ET beginning September 3
Boogie Beebies teaches children to dance, featuring a different routine each week. At the end of each episode, children at home can perform the dance along with the show, as an MTV-inspired video featuring age-appropriate characters, clothing, and scenery, is screened on the TV.

My Hero, Series Six
Canadian Premiere – 8 x 30min
Weeknights at 11:30 p.m. ET beginning September 6
George Sunday is no ordinary alien. He becomes superhero Thermoman, who saves the world on a regular basis! In series six, George continues to go from one catastrophe to another as he juggles his two worlds — that of superhero and that of an unassuming proprietor of a London health food store who’s married to a nurse named Janet.

The Raven, Series Six
North American Premiere – 20 x 30min
Weekdays at 5:30 p.m. ET, beginning November 5
Part game show, part drama, series six of The Raven has one single goal: avoid elimination and remain the last one standing. Each week’s adventure involves a series of games and tests undertaken by six players who compete to survive the challenges and stay in the game.
