That number leaves the San Francisco outfielder only five home runs short of Aaron’s mark of 755. Aaron set the record over 23 seasons. He broke into the Major Leagues in 1954 with the Milwaukee Braves. The 20-time all-star spent 12 seasons with the Braves in Milwaukee before the franchise moved to Atlanta where Aaron played the next nine seasons. He closed out is career back where it began playing his final two campaigns with the Milwaukee Brewers. Bonds, who began his career in 1986 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, has been named NL MVP seven times. He set the single season home run mark of 73 during the 2001 season.
