Barry Bonds is on the verge of surpassing the all-time MLB home run mark set by Hall-of-Famer Henry Aaron and Rogers Sportsnet will provide viewers with extensive coverage including the addition of six games featuring the San Francisco Giants.

The additional six San Francisco Giants games on the Sportsnet schedule are as follows:

San Francisco @ Cincinnati Thursday, July 5 @ 7 p.m. (ET) (Sportsnet Ontario)
San Francisco @ Cincinnati Saturday, July 7 @ 7 p.m. (ET) (Sportsnet East)
LA Dodgers @ San Francisco Saturday, July 14 @ 3:30 p.m. (ET) (all Sportsnet channels including Sportsnet HD)
Atlanta @ San Francisco Tuesday, July 24 @ 10 p.m. (ET) (Sportsnet Pacific)
Atlanta @ San Francisco Wednesday, July 25 @ 10 p.m. (ET) (Sportsnet Pacific)
Atlanta @ San Francisco Thursday, July 26 @ 10 p.m. (ET) (Sportsnet West)

Bonds has homered 16 times this season, leaving him with 750 career home runs. That number leaves the San Francisco outfielder only five home runs short of Aaron’s mark of 755. Aaron set the record over 23 seasons. He broke into the Major Leagues in 1954 with the Milwaukee Braves. The 20-time all-star spent 12 seasons with the Braves in Milwaukee before the franchise moved to Atlanta where Aaron played the next nine seasons. He closed out is career back where it began playing his final two campaigns with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Bonds, who began his career in 1986 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, has been named NL MVP seven times. He set the single season home run mark of 73 during the 2001 season.
