The New York Mets visit St. Louis to take on the defending champion Cardinals Sunday, April 1 at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/ 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD in the first of 250 Major League Baseball (MLB) games on Sportsnet this season.
Baseball fans can watch more MLB on Sportsnet than any other network in Canada this season. In addition to the 250 regular season MLB broadcasts Sportsnet also features 116 Toronto Blue Jays games; and all games from the 2007 MLB Playoffs. The total broadcasts on Sportsnet will approach 400 games once the season is complete.
All 60 Blue Jays home games will also be available on Sportsnet HD. In addition, another 113 regular season MLB broadcasts will be in high definition and all games from the 2007 MLB playoffs. That will bring the potential total to 214 of broadcasts also available on Sportsnet HD.

* MLB All-Star Game Tuesday, July 10 @ 8:00 p.m. (ET)
* 50 Seattle Mariners games
* 32 San Francisco Giants games as Barry Bonds chases Henry Aaron for the all time home run lead
* 31 Boston Red Sox games
* 26 New York Yankees games
* 15 Minnesota Twins games featuring Canadian Justin Morneau fresh off an AL MVP season
* 13 St. Louis Cardinals games as the Cards try to repeat as World Series Champions
