Put on your toque, grab a beer and enjoy a few Canuck yuks this April Fool's on The Comedy Network. Airing Sunday, April 1, from 6 to 11 p.m. ET/PT, the tomfoolery begins with a two-hour Just For Laughs Gag-a-thon, followed by episodes of The Simpsons, South Park and fearlessly funny Comedy Now! stand-up specials featuring homegrown heroes Russell Peters, Jon Dore and Debra DiGiovanni.

On tap April 1:

6-8 p.m. ET/PT - Just For Laughs Gags
Seen in over 75 countries, this popular hidden camera/reality TV series is, perhaps, the most honest of all reality TV programming. Its formula is simple, but it works: throw in a camera, some clever practical jokes and a few unsuspecting "victims," and you've got yourself a sure fire recipe for laughter.

8 p.m. ET/PT - Comedy Now! Debra DiGiovanni
Canadian Comedy Award-winner Debra DiGiovanni is one of the country's fastest rising stand-up talents. She's the girl next door...but with a twist! Chatty, catty and unflinchingly frank, she finds the funny in almost every area of life. This encore presentation of her 30-minute special is filled with novel observations about everyday realities as well as the foibles and follies we all share. A popular judge on MuchMusic's Video On Trial, DiGiovanni regularly performs across the country and has appeared at Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs Festival.

8:30 p.m. ET/PT - Comedy Now! Jon Dore
Recent Canadian Comedy Award-winner for Best Newcomer, Ottawa-born comedian Jon Dore is one of the most inventive up-and-coming comics to watch. There is literally nothing this popular stand-up won't do for a laugh, in the rebroadcast of his 30-minute stand-up special. Most recognized as the one-time correspondent on the hottest reality program on Canadian television, Canadian Idol, Dore is currently hosting the Just For Laughs' Homegrown Comic Competition Cross Canada Tour, wrapping in Halifax on March 23.

9 p.m. ET/PT - The Simpsons Clip Show - "So It Has Come To This"
Bart's April Fools' prank backfires and lands Homer in the hospital in a coma. At Homer's bedside, The Simpson family reminisces about all of the good times they've had over the years until Homer emerges from his coma.

9:30 p.m. ET/PT - South Park - "Trapped in the Closet"
Back by popular demand, The Church of Scientology recognizes Stan as the reincarnation of founder L. Ron Hubbard in the rebroadcast of this fearlessly funny episode. Hollywood celebrities Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman and R. Kelly join the faithful and set up camp at Stan's house.

10 p.m. ET/PT - Comedy Now! Russell Peters Live
Recently touted as one of the "10 comics to watch" by Variety, internationally-acclaimed and four-time Gemini nominee, Russell Peters, takes the stage and tells it like it is the rebroadcast of his wildly popular one-hour stand-up special. Taped live in front of a hometown Toronto audience, Peters, hilariously dissects his life as a first-generation Indo-Canadian. He reminisces about childhood experiences and riffs about Indian culture tackling topics such as family relationships and interracial marriage. A master of various dialects and accents, Russell is a natural for portraying racial stereotypes in a though-provoking fashion. Peters has played to sold-out crowds around the globe and is the first South Asian to headline and sell out New York's Apollo Theater. A regular at Montreal Just For Laughs, Winnipeg and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals, he is currently creating a major buzz on the Hollywood scene.
