Ryan Stock and his fiancée AmberLynn Walker do things in their everyday lives most people would never consider doing on even the most outrageous dare. For Stock - an extreme circus performer - sword swallowing, nasal drilling and fire eating are all in a day's work. Gifted with an incredible resilience to pain, this time Stock is pushing his body to the limits of human endurance - all in the name of science. Premiering Mon., Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT on Discovery Channel, Guinea Pig follows Stock - aided by his fiancée Walker - as a human scientific guinea pig exploring the effects of various tests on the human body.
The experienced performer and daredevil trades fire eating for G-forces and sword swallowing for sudden impact in a series of progressively challenging tests that also includes non-lethal weapons, animal bites or stings, wind and protective suits. From the deserts of Arizona to the clear blue Canadian skies, the ultimate human guinea pig gets crunched, bitten, spun, sprayed and shot in this original six-part series. Stock doesn't read about less-lethal weapons, he gets a face full of pepper-spray; instead of using facts and figures to explain G-force, he screams through the clouds upside-down in a fighter jet; and Stock abandons the safety of a terrarium, getting face-to-face with scorpions, tarantulas and some of the world's
deadliest snakes.

Episode highlights from Guinea Pig include:
Guinea Pig: "Less Lethal"
Mon., Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
From a face-wash of pepper spray to 50,000 volts from a Taser X26, Stock - the scientific guinea pig - runs the gamut of all the newest "less lethal" law enforcement weapons. Testing all the latest crime fighting technology, Stock is shot, sprayed and zapped under the watchful eye of Walker and an expert police team. Resulting in 10 contusions, three lesions and use of a cane for several days, the efficacy of each less-lethal tactic is evaluated as an effective means to subdue a criminal suspect.
Guinea Pig: "Animal Injections"
Mon., Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
Fire ants, killer bees and a host of snakes fill out the ensemble cast in this real-life nightmare! In an attempt to show how to overcome our instinctual fear of these creepy creatures, Stock is bitten, stung and constricted by nine different species of vicious vermin. Withstanding 39 puncture wounds and venom reactions lasting for nearly a full day, what will Stock's experiments reveal about our interactions with creepy crawly things?
Guinea Pig: "Sudden Impact"
Mon., Jan. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
An object in motion tends to stay in motion... unless you put something in its way. Whether it's taking a left hook from a 115kg heavyweight boxer's fist, a 140kg CFL linebacker's broadside or a car crash at 70kph, Stock gets some "target practice" experiencing sudden impact firsthand.
Guinea Pig: "G-Force"
Mon., Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
Gravity keeps us grounded, but in this episode, Stock turns the most basic law of nature on its head strapping in for a few midway rides, in a centrifuge and screaming through the clouds in a Snowbirds jet - upside down, backwards and at over 750kph! This human guinea pig will grey-out, blackout - and maybe even freak out - as he experiences G-force!
Guinea Pig: "Blown Away"
Mon., Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
From a summer breeze to the gales of a hurricane, Stock takes on nature's most unpredictable force. In this episode, Stock gets caught in an updraft, blasted in a sandstorm and trapped in a wind tunnel simulating the impact of a hurricane. This guinea pig reveals the extraordinary power of wind - even if it means suffering a broken bone and dozens of contusions in the process.
Guinea Pig: "Super Suits"
Mon., Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT
They say that the clothes make the man, but in this case, they make the difference between life and death! From medieval armour to modern-day chainmail and Kevlar shark suits and high-tech fireproof gear, Stock gets dressed for success. In face-offs against battle axes, 135kg shark bites and a flame-thrower, Ryan entrusts his life to various super suits.
