You would think nothing much happens outside the world of Manhattan. In Woody Allen's film world, not much does. With more than 30 years of directing, writing and acting experience, Allen has become one of the most widely respected filmmakers in the modern era. In celebration of this self-professed neurotic, nervous and shy filmmaker, Bravo! proudly celebrates the Academy Award-winner with a Woody Allen Film Festival beginning November 3.

Woody Allen's films have always been a reflection of social change, cultural relevance and great movie magic. From Allen's early psychological study of a mother's effect on her adult daughters in Interiors (1978) to the comedic biopic on fictional jazz guitarist and chronic drunk Emmett Ray in Sweet and Lowdown (1999), Bravo! highlights the iconic filmmaker's rich catalogue. Paul Gratton, Vice President, Entertainment Specialty Channels said, "Even today Woody Allen remains the ultimate American auteur. Only Woody writes, directs, casts and retains final cut over all his movies, and remains extremely prolific in his output. Neurotic angst has never been in better hands."

Hannah and her Sisters (1986) tells the story of a Thanksgiving Day party that is far from family friendly, while the lessons of life are set to song and dance in Everyone Says I Love You (1996). In Broadway Danny Rose (1984), a talent manager's life is jeopardized when the mob mistakes his identity. The mob helps neurotic playwright David Shayne (John Cusack) get his sinking play in front of Broadway's bright lights in Bullets Over Broadway (1994). Examining the behind-the-scenes world of film and radio, The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985) finds a fictional Hollywood leading star literally leaping off the screens of numerous cinemas refusing to finish the film. Radio Days (1987) showcases vignettes involving radio personalities intertwined with the life of a working class family circa 1942.
