This reality show focuses on the absurdity of someone who, literally, worships and idealizes someone they don't even know. This program makes that idyllic fantasy become a truthful, and possibly painful, reality - for better or for worse. Talk about a catalyst for conversation!

Ever wish you could bail in the middle of a bad date? Well, Next is the MTV show that lets participants to do just that. The "dater" is set-up on five dates. Through fun activities and loads of conversation, the dater and the date assess each other. The minute the dater gets annoyed, angry or just plain bored, the date can simply be kicked to the curb by saying "NEXT" and the dater starts over with someone new! It's relationships at their most basic level and each dater who is turfed gets to download their thoughts to the audience with a post-dumping debrief. But don't feel too bad for the ones that get the boot; they get cash for every minute they last and the one who makes it to the end gets a chance to turn the tables. They can choose to go on a second date with you or take the money and run. Daters should proceed with caution because sooner or later they could be the one hearing the word "next".
