The fans have spoken and the results are in. After 250,000 online votes during an eight-week interactive promotion, the greatest goals from the 2005-06 hockey season are ready to be unveiled on NHL Network tomorrow (Thursday, June 22) at 7:30 p.m. ET during the 30-minute special Rbk Hockey's Greatest Goal.

Hosted by NHL Network's Dan Pollard, the program counts down the year's best goals from the regular and post-season, and also presents the 'Viewer's Choice' for best goal as decided online by hockey fans nationwide.

The hockey homage kicks off with the very best non-NHL goals from around the IIHF World Junior Championship, AHL, OHL and NCAA, and then continues with a Top 10 countdown of the very best NHL goals of the season. Featured NHL goals include unforgettable markers by Jason Spezza, Sidney Crosby, Marek Malik, Nikolai Zherdev, Patrice Bergeron and Alexander Ovechkin. The show also includes footage of incredible NHL goals not included in the Top 10.

The show marks the culmination of a joint eight-week promotion between NHL Network and Reebok (Rbk). Hockey fans were invited to log on to www.rbkgreatestgoal.ca and vote for the best NHL and non-NHL goals from the 2005-06 NHL season. The promotion also featured a video submission contest, providing amateur hockey players the opportunity to showcase their own 'highlight-reel' goal footage as captured on amateur video to win NHL Network prize packs.

Fans can look forward to the second installment of the popular Rbk Hockey's Greatest Goal promotion shortly following the 2006-07 regular season.
