This new weekly half-hour series celebrates wine and the celebrities who love it, by asking the eternal question, "red or white?" Taking you on a trip through some of the best wine countries in the world are self-confessed "cork dorks" Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan, who venture through Mexico, the Napa Valley, Washington state and the Okanagan Region of British Columbia enlisting their celebrity friends along the way.

Watch for the new Hollywood generation, including Heath Ledger, Katie Holmes and Sienna Miller to spill about their favourite bottles to more mature wine lovers like Jack Black, George Clooney, Steven Page and Kyle MacLachlan who dish about why they can't get enough of their favourite vino.

Priestley and Mulligan explore the best in wine, food and travel and take viewers along for the ride. "Hollywood & Vines" mixes enthusiastic vintners, wine festival goers and restaurateurs in a quick-witted documentary style program that crushes all aristocratic wine barriers. Priestley and Mulligan celebrate the world of wineries and expand the definition of "fine establishment" by visiting all walks of life, from five star restaurants and personal wine cellars, to the most charming Heritage Inns and one of the best taco stands in the Northwest! All this, plus expert opinions on how wine has affected our culture, our taste buds and our everyday lives. Now, you can explore the world of vintage wines by simply turning on your television set and joining the party! What does a "pit stop" at the Denver Grand Prix have to do with the subject? You'll have to tune in to find out, because only our hosts will be able to tell you!

Un-cork the premiere of "Hollywood and Vines” , Tuesday, May 2nd at 8:30pm ET/ 5:30pm PT on Star! Catch the encore presentation on Thursdays at 3:00pm ET/12:00pm PT.

"Hollywood & Vines" is produced by Chad Oakes and Roger Williams in association with Nomadic Pictures and Image Pacific Communications.
