Last Friday night's (Jan. 27) broadcast of the highly anticipated South Park episode "Trapped in the Closet" averaged 343,000 viewers during the 9:30 - 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot on The Comedy Network. Nielsen Media Research confirms that the episode attracted a 166% increase over the season-to-date average. "Trapped in the Closet," a spoof of Tom Cruise and The Church of Scientology, is the third most-watched South Park episode ever broadcast on The Comedy Network.
Another eye-popping South Park episode, "Bloody Mary," premieres Friday, February 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network. In the all-new episode, Pope Benedict XVI investigates a bleeding statue of the Virgin Mary in South Park.
Seen exclusively in Canada on The Comedy Network, South Park airs weeknights at 9:30 p.m. and midnight ET/PT.
