CTV’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Season 4 starts strong, with 1.1 million viewers taking in all the twists and turns, up an impressive 11 % over last years premiere. The #1 program of the night with key demo A18-34, last night’s episode was up 22% in the demo compared to the Season 3 premiere.

Ratings: Viewers Choose CTV For Live Coverage of Vancouver Riots

As violence erupted on the streets of Vancouver last night following the Boston Bruins’ Stanley Cup victory, viewers nationally and locally chose CTV for live coverage. From 11:30 p.m. – 2 a.m. ET, CTV News Channel averaged 317,000 viewers, more than 8.5 times its typical audience in that timeslot and making it the most watched specialty channel in Canada overall last night. The audience was nearly three times that of CBC News Network (112,000 viewers). Reaching more than one million Canadians overall, coverage actually peaked at 1:07 a.m. ET on CTV News Channel with 410,000 viewers.

A reporter for CTV Montreal’s top-rated newscasts for the past two years, Sherriffs is a familiar face and voice to Montrealers. Additionally, she has spent the past four years as a newscaster on local radio.

Fall Highlights: Bell Media Announces CTV and CTV Two's 2011 Fall Schedule

From a position of depth and breadth, CTV announced today the premier television schedule in North America for the 2011/12 season, featuring 16 new programs, cherry-picked from Hollywood’s top studios, along with the majority of Canada’s current list of most-watched television programs. The announcement was made by Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports, in advance of the network’s Upfront presentation today in Toronto. The new series include the most-coveted franchise programs available, headlined by the hottest new competition series on the planet, Simon Cowell’s THE X FACTOR. Ratings: Bazinga! CTV is Canada’s Most-Watched Network for 10th Straight Year

With the 2010/11 television season now complete, CTV has once again won the season in total viewers and the key advertising demos A25-54, A18-49, and A18-34, it was revealed today. Based on data from BBM Canada through the end of the season last Wednesday, May 25, CTV is Canada’s most-watched network in total viewers and A25-54 for the 10th straight year, solidifying CTV as Canada’s #1 network for the past decade.
