| Programming Highlights: Production Begins on Brent Butt Comedy, Hiccups |

CTV, in association with The Comedy Network and Sparrow Media, announced today that principal photography is underway on the original comedy series, HICCUPS, in Vancouver, BC. From the star and mastermind behind CTV’s hit comedy CORNER GAS, Brent Butt returns to helm his latest project as creator, writer, executive producer and co-star. The 13-part, half-hour series stars the hilarious Nancy Robertson (CORNER GAS) as the lead character and will continue production through November. HICCUPS is the second CTV/The Comedy Network comedy series to begin production this month, the first being DAN FOR MAYOR, starring Fred Ewanuick (CORNER GAS, ROBSON ARMS).

Canada has spoken. It was revealed live on CTV last night by host Leah Miller that after close to two million votes from across the country following Tuesday night’s performance episode, EVERETT, JAYME RAE, TARA-JEAN and VINCENT are still in the running to become Canada’s favourite dancer as EMANUEL and MELANIE were eliminated from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. The Top 4 dancers will hit the stage during a special two-hour performance episode on Tuesday, October 20 beginning at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, before the winner is finally revealed during the live, two-hour finale on Sunday, October 25 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings).

| General News: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Renewed for a Third season, Audition Details Announced |

As announced during last night’s Top 6 Performance episode, CTV has ordered a third heart-racing season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA. Dancers from across the country who have been watching from their living rooms now have their chance to bust a move live, and in person, for the judges. CTV and Danse TV Productions announced that the third season audition tour will stop in Toronto on Friday, November 13 and in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, December 5. The tour will also spin into Calgary, Montreal and a soon to be announced East Coast city. Additional audition dates, details and locations will be announced soon. Information will be posted at dance.ctv.ca as it becomes available. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA is based on 19 Entertainment and dick clark productions’ popular international format SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, from a uniquely Canadian perspective.

| Ratings: Sunday Sweep Completes Amazing Week on CTV |

With Sunday night in the books, Premiere Week 2009 has wrapped and CTV has once again emerged as the overwhelming choice for prime-time viewing in Canada. Averaging nearly two million viewers (1.95 million) per minute – every minute – CTV finished 58% bigger than Global (1.2 million), 215% bigger than CBC (621,000) and 453% bigger than Citytv (353,000)*.
