| Production news: Global viewers want more of The Jane Show |

The Global Television Network announced today that the half-hour comedy The Jane Show produced by Shaftesbury Films and starring Second City alumnus Teresa Pavlinek will be developed as a 22-episode primetime series for production in 2005. After a successful broadcast of the half-hour comedy pilot on December 15, Global is committed to developing the series further.

| General News: Revenues for Canadian specialty, pay, and pay-per-view television services exceed the $2 billion mark |

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has released the financial results for specialty, pay and pay-per-view television in Canada for the years 2000 to 2004. This sector has experienced significant growth in terms of both revenues and profits. Revenues for the 115 Canadian services grew by close to $170 million, or 9%, between 2003 and 2004, going from $1.88 to 2.05 billion. Earnings before interest and taxes rose from $284.8 to 418.1 million, an increase of 46.8%. The operating margin reached 22.04, while the EBIT margin rose to 20.39 in 2004.

| Providers News: Videotron adds Spanish Package |

On March 1st, 2005, Videotron, Quebec's largest cable provider, created a new Spanish package for its Illico Digital Television subscribers, which is a first of its kind in Canada. The package called Hispano is made up of five foreign Spanish channels, Canal SUR, Cinelatino, Eurochannel, Grand Documentales, and Utilisima, as well as TeleLatino which is already popular among many Spanish and Italian speaking Canadians.
