| Programming Highlights: MTV Announces Flagship Series, MTV Live |

MTV Senior Vice-President and General Manager Brad Schwartz announced today the flagship original series that will anchor the MTV schedule. MTV Live, a socially engaging, live and interactive talk show about issues of interest to all Canadians, will air Monday-Friday on MTV. The all-Canadian series will be produced and broadcast from its new state-of-the-art studios housed in Toronto's legendary Masonic Temple, today named the new and permanent home of MTV in Canada. Today's announcements are timed to coincide with the official transformation of the Masonic Temple, happening on-site today as construction crews begin erecting the world-famous MTV signature sign on the downtown landmark.

As announced last night on CTV's eTalk Daily, 20-year-old Canadian Idol alumnus Elena Juatco has signed on as Canadian Idol's new roving reporter. In time for the launch of the 2006 Canadian Idol Audition Tour this weekend, the Wild Card performer that sang her way to sixth place in Season Two brings her energy, enthusiasm and first-hand Canadian Idol knowledge to the series for Season Four. Reporting from coast to coast, Juatco will be a beam of support for the competitors as they journey through the competition. Juatco joins the cast as they embark on the 11-city, 11-week audition tour, beginning February 18-19 at the West Edmonton Mall.

| New Programs: Space to premiere U.K. series Hex in march |

SPACE presents the exclusive North American premiere of Hex, a paranormal drama - hailed as the British Buffy the Vampire Slayer - about a young woman with supernatural powers. Hex's protagonist, Cassie, may be like Buffy Summers in that both characters possess special powers, but the tone of the series is more like Smallville and Angel - dark and sinister. The critically-acclaimed series, which premieres on March 8 and airs Wednesdays at 10pm ET on SPACE, stars Christina Cole (What a Girl Wants) as Cassie and Michael Fassbender (Band of Brothers, 300) as Azazeal.
