| Fall Highlights: Bell Media Announces CTV and CTV Two's 2011 Fall Schedule |

From a position of depth and breadth, CTV announced today the premier television schedule in North America for the 2011/12 season, featuring 16 new programs, cherry-picked from Hollywood’s top studios, along with the majority of Canada’s current list of most-watched television programs. The announcement was made by Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports, in advance of the network’s Upfront presentation today in Toronto. The new series include the most-coveted franchise programs available, headlined by the hottest new competition series on the planet, Simon Cowell’s THE X FACTOR. This Fall, six new dramas, four new comedies, one new daytime series, and one additional new reality series join CTV, Canada’s most-watched network for the 10th year in a row, and its sister network CTV Two (previously /A\), with three new dramas slated for mid-season.

It’s a party, and there will be cake. Discovery Channel marks the end of an era as Jay Ingram wraps his nightly duties as the co-host of DAILY PLANET. Celebrating 16 incredible seasons as DAILY PLANET’S original co-host, Ingram steps down with a fun-filled and retrospective special, DAILY PLANET: JAY’S LAST SHOW, on Sunday, June 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. In December, Ingram announced that he would be leaving his full-time hosting duties at the end of the 2010-2011 season to pursue new opportunities within the Discovery family (announcements detailing these future projects will follow at a later date). Like the best parties, DAILY PLANET: JAY’S LAST SHOW will celebrate and honour Ingram’s innumerable contributions that have made the world of science accessible, inspirational and entertaining for Canadians.

Disney XD, the new digital specialty channel and multiplatform brand from Astral Media Inc. (TSX: ACM.A/ACM.B) launches today in homes across Canada. Available in high definition, Disney XD will launch with Rogers Communications, Bell Satellite TV, Bell Fibe TV, EastLink and Delta Cable. Disney XD will be available through TELUS as of June 20, with additional distributors expected to offer the new kids’ channel in the coming months. Channel numbers for Disney XD are available by service provider at DisneyXD.ca.
