| Ratings: Canada Goes Gaga for Gomez: One Million Viewers Makes 2011 MMVAs MuchMusic’s Biggest Broadcast Ever |

The awards have been handed out, today’s brightest stars have come and gone, and the overnight ratings are in: MuchMusic’s broadcast of the 2011 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS is the most-watched broadcast in MuchMusic history! More than one million viewers (1.009 million) watched from 9-11 p.m. last night, making it the most-watched non-news program on all of Canadian television last night, up 10.4% compared to last year’s record-breaker in total viewers (914,000)*, and jumping an incredible 67% in the key A18-34 demo. Viewership also increased by 11% in P12 - 34. When the 8 p.m. PT west coast broadcast is included, the overall audience jumps to 1.2 million viewers. Nearly three million unique viewers (2.8 million) watched some or all of the broadcast.

| Production news: Production set to begin on Season 2 of CBC’s spy comedy InSecurity |

Vérité Films and Company Name Here Productions in association with CBC announced today that production on Season 2 of the comedy series InSecurity <http://cbc.ca/insecurity> will begin July 4, 2011. Set in Ottawa, the Nation’s Capital, at the fictional National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Season 2 of InSecurity follows secret agent Alex Cranston (played by series star Natalie Lisinska, Young People F**King, Chloe) and her team of spies who make keeping the nation safe look easy and getting a life look hard; after all, spies are people too. InSecurity will premiere on CBC as part of the 2011 fall prime-time lineup, airing Monday nights at 8:30 pm (9 p.m. NT) right after the BATTLE OF THE BLADES RESULTS SHOW. The 10-episode half-hour series is shot in Regina, Saskatchewan, with second camera photography shot in Ottawa, Ontario. Production wraps August 30, 2011.

| Ratings: Viewers Choose CTV For Live Coverage of Vancouver Riots |

As violence erupted on the streets of Vancouver last night following the Boston Bruins’ Stanley Cup victory, viewers nationally and locally chose CTV for live coverage. From 11:30 p.m. – 2 a.m. ET, CTV News Channel averaged 317,000 viewers, more than 8.5 times its typical audience in that timeslot and making it the most watched specialty channel in Canada overall last night. The audience was nearly three times that of CBC News Network (112,000 viewers). Reaching more than one million Canadians overall, coverage actually peaked at 1:07 a.m. ET on CTV News Channel with 410,000 viewers.
