NBC today unveiled its new Fall lineup for the 2008-09 television season, introducing a schedule earlier than ever that combines some of the most acclaimed and popular returning series on television with four new programs that will join the schedule in the opening weeks of the season, including “Kath & Kim,” “Knight Rider,” “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Crusoe.”

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) today denied HDTV Networks Inc.'s (HDTV Networks) application for a licence to operate a national, English-language high-definition conventional television service. In addition, the CRTC today denied YES TV Inc.'s application for a licence to operate an English-language high-definition conventional television
service in the Greater Toronto Area.

| New Programs: Elvis Costello and Elton John to Make a Television Spectacle for CTV |

Two of the most respected musicians in the world will collaborate on an extraordinary new television series, it was announced today. Spectacle: Elvis Costello with… will be hosted by its namesake and produced in conjunction with Sir Elton John’s Rocket Pictures. Elton John will be one of the program's Executive Producers. Conceived and developed in Canada, the Canada/United Kingdom co-production will start shooting soon for broadcast later this year on CTV in Canada, Channel 4 in the UK and Sundance Channel in the US. FremantleMedia Enterprises will handle sales of the show to the rest of the world.

| Programming Highlights: Documentary Signs Exclusive Deal With Sundance Channel |

CBC announced this week that its new digital channel documentary—formerly The Documentary Channel—has secured an exclusive deal to air a Sundance Channel branded block of programming which will expose Canadian audiences to the world-renowned brand and the programming associated with it. Canada’s new home for provocative and entertaining documentary programming will feature films and series produced by the U.S network as well as titles from other sources that share Sundance Channel’s spirit and vision.
