| Ratings: Golden Globes Shine as 1.8 Million Watch on CTV |

As the stars of television and film were feted at THE 66TH ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS® on Sunday, it was also a winning night for CTV as more than 1.8 million total viewers tuned in to watch the who’s who of Hollywood laugh, cry, drink and take home their statues. Peaking at 2.5 million viewers, THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS bested part one of the season premiere of 24 (Global/Fox - 1.4 million, 2+), winning both the 9 and 10 p.m. timeslots. More than 6 million Canadians watched some or all of the broadcast, while the awards show was also the most-watched program of the night in Toronto and Calgary.

The return of CTV’s hit original series FLASHPOINT debuted #1 in Canada on Friday night. Across Canada, the series delivered 1.27 million total viewers, winning both its time-slot and the night.* The episode was also #1 at 9 p.m. in each of Canada’s three metered markets; Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. Growing from its 8 p.m. lead-in (GHOST WHISPERER), the audience also grew in its second half-hour, peaking at 1.4 million viewers.
