TELETOON Canada inc. is thrilled to announce that after the unprecedented success of its original movie, and with the much anticipated launch of its first live-action, horror-comedy series, My Babysitter’s a Vampire, produced by Fresh TV, has been greenlit for a second season. TELETOON’s most successful live-action project to date, My Babysitter’s a Vampire, season two, will commence production in September 2011 for a 13-part series in English and French.

Internationally renowned celebrity chef Jamie Oliver rescues viewers’ busy weeknight dinners with his brand new series, Jamie’s Meals In Minutes. Wednesday nights have never been sweeter as cake ‘Ace’ Duff Goldman uncovers America’s most delectable desserts in his new series Sugar High, followed by two sisters who manage a bustling New Jersey cookie company in Tough Cookies. In Thursday night’s new food travel series, Crave, San Diego food critic Troy Johnson sheds light on how his favourite foods are made, the history and science behind them and why they’re so popular. The night heats up with Aarón Sanchez (Chefs vs. City) and Roger Mooking’s (Everyday Exotic) new series Heat Seekers, in which the two scour America’s most fiery dishes.

The six-episode, unscripted series takes reality television to a whole new level by pitting high-level investigative professionals vs. everyday people vying to win a $100,000 prize. Toronto-based Proper Television announced today that production has begun on the new CBC Television series, REDEMPTION INC. Hosted by multimillionaire businessman and Dragons’ Den star Kevin O’Leary, the series will be filmed throughout the Greater Toronto Area until September 2011. REDEMPTION INC. (8 x 60’) is produced by Proper Television for CBC Television and will premiere in Winter 2012.
