The films debut on TSN on Friday, Nov. 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET with Academy-award winning filmmaker Barry Levinson’s The Band that Wouldn’t Die. Ratings: Phil Kessel's First Games Brings Big Numbers For Rogers SportsNet

Rogers Sportsnet’s broadcast of Tuesday’s game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning drew an audience of 845, 000 (PPM 2+) on Sportsnet Ontario, the eighth highest rated broadcast in the history of the network, and the highest ever regional broadcast for the network.

Ratings: V Lands as the Fall's #1 New Series With 2.16 Million Viewers

The Visitors invaded Canada last night when 2.16 million viewers watched the series premiere of V on CTV, making it the #1 new series of the Fall and the only new series premiere to deliver more than two million viewers. With a reach of almost 5 million viewers (4.85 million), V also won the night among the key A25-54 and A18-49 selling demos as well as females/males 25-54 and males 18-49.

CTV promised strategic stability when announcing its Fall lineup this past June, and the network has delivered. With the first five weeks of the 2009 Fall television season now officially on record, CTV remains the undisputed #1 broadcaster, no matter how you look at it: #1 in total viewers, #1 in both key adult demos (A18-49, A25-54) and #1 in the young A18-34 demo. With seven out of Canada’s Top 10 hit programs, CTV’s stable prime-time schedule has seen growth of 31% this Fall.
