MuchMusic is THE one- stop-shop for a monster line-up this fall with the thrilling premieres of highly-anticipated new series, and returning fan favourites. September is off to a chilly start with the premiere of a killer new series, DEATH VALLEY (Sept. 6) exclusively on Much, the bewitching new drama THE SECRET CIRCLE (Sept. 16), and the return of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (Sept. 16). Speaking of wicked, more catty drama is set to unfold with the return of GOSSIP GIRL (Sept. 26) with all new episodes exclusively on Much. If that’s not enough to slay viewers, the bloody-good horror-comedy TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL(Sept. 6) makes its debut on MUCH. Honouring some frighteningly good Canadian musical talents is POLARIS MUSIC PRIZE 2011, (Sept. 19) streaming live exclusively on muchmusic.com, and airing on Much, Sept. 24.

There’s nothing funny about back-to-school, colder temperatures and the countdown to winter, but The Comedy Networks laughs it off with saucy specials, long-awaited returns and all-new hilarity. Nothing says back to school like a blitz of hilarious specials including the killer ROAST OF CHARLIE SHEEN on Monday, Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. ET. When the roasting is done, rock out with JUST FOR LAUGHS: AMP’D (Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. ET), a hilarious mix of music and comedy from the 2011 Just for Laughs Festival, hosted by ''Weird Al'' Yankovic and including the return of Tom Green’s Organized Rhyme. Then, leave it to comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham to take it to the next level in a crazy, one-hour special, JEFF DUNHAM: CONTROLLED CHAOS(Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. ET). This September, Corus Entertainment’s YTV welcomes Life with Boys, a new live-action comedy, to its Friday night lineup. Produced by Nelvana Studio, Life with Boys stars Torri Webster as 14 year-old Tess Foster, the only girl in a house full of boys. With the help of her best friend Allie, played by Madison Pettis (Phineas and Ferb, Cory in the House), Tess must navigate her way through the turmoil of teen life, including dealing with her overprotective dad and her overzealous, bathroom-monopolizing brothers! Life with Boys premieres Friday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m.

They searched day and night for survivors. They were focused and fearless in their mission. They worked obediently, searching tirelessly, risking injury and offering comfort. They are and will always remain, the HERO DOGS OF 9/11. Premiering Sunday, September 11 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, Animal Planet presents a one-hour documentary special that reveals the true stories of three survivors and the legacies of working dogs who saved these lives at Ground Zero during the September 11, 2001 crisis and aftermath. The Canadian-made special pays tribute to the 300-plus dogs that were part of the rescue and recovery operation. HERO DOGS OF 9/11 also features the heroic recovery story of the last remaining survivor who was found by dogs and pulled out of the rubble 27 hours after the WTC buildings collapsed on that fateful autumn day.

Recorded at Toronto’s historic Masonic Temple, and hosted by Matt Wells, the intimate special gives fans a front row seat to a hyped Sam Roberts Band set, showcasing some of their best critically acclaimed hits. In honour of this momentous occasion, Dan Mathieson, Mayor of Stratford, Ontario has declared September 1 to be Lloyd Robertson Day in Stratford. In addition, Mayor Mathieson will be making an announcement in front of City Hall on Wednesday, August 24. Lloyd Robertson and his wife, Nancy Robertson, will be in attendance. Details below:
