CTV Inc. announced today its extensive multi-channel, multi-platform campaign in support of Canada’s written word with THE SCOTIABANK GILLER PRIZE, featuring live broadcasts on BRAVO! and BookTelevision – and available live to the world on CTV.ca – next Tuesday, November 10 at 9 p.m. ET. Hosted by CTV’s Seamus O’Regan, the literature celebration will also air across CTV and /A\ stations four times over the following four days (see chart below).

With more than $25 million in total purses and awards available to be won, TSN and TSN2’s complete coverage begins Friday, Nov. 6 and continues through to Saturday, Nov. 7, with all races available in High Definition (see broadcast schedule below).

CTV promised strategic stability when announcing its Fall lineup this past June, and the network has delivered. With the first five weeks of the 2009 Fall television season now officially on record, CTV remains the undisputed #1 broadcaster, no matter how you look at it: #1 in total viewers, #1 in both key adult demos (A18-49, A25-54) and #1 in the young A18-34 demo. With seven out of Canada’s Top 10 hit programs, CTV’s stable prime-time schedule has seen growth of 31% this Fall.

For the first time in CSI franchise history, one character will appear in all three CSI incarnations, beginning Monday, November 9 on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings). In the special crossover trilogy, Dr. Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) travels from CSI: MIAMI (Monday, November 9 at 10 p.m. ET) to work with Horatio Cane (David Caruso), to CSI: NEW YORK (Wednesday, November 11 at 10 p.m. ET) to work with Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), and back to his resident CSI lab in Las Vegas (Thursday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET), as evidence in a new case leads him across the country.
