Rogers Media Inc. today announced it will not pursue a bid for the Canadian broadcast rights to the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games as part of Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium.
One of the NHL’s most storied franchises once again takes centre stage on TSN, as Canada’s Sports Leader deliversregional coverage of 30 Montreal Canadiens games to fans in the team’s broadcast region, including Quebec, Atlantic Canada and parts of Eastern Ontario.
Rugby broadcasters Gareth Rees, Brian Spanton and Nigel Reed have joined TSN’s coverage of the RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011, hosting pre- and post-game shows and filing regular SPORTSCENTRE reports during the tournament. The RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 kicks off this Friday at 3:30 a.m. ET live on TSN2 with the opening ceremonies followed by New Zealand vs. Tonga.
