Channel Canada was launched in june 1997 with the collaboration of Randi Dertzo and John Melville. John used to maintain the #Canada IRC chat website and Randi used to maintain Canada's TV Zone which was launched back in 1993. We both decided to joind forces and create Channel Canada.
