WWOR-TV and WUAB-TV are eligible satellite services under the CRTC, and possibly the only way Canadians can get My Network TV.
With all the latest news involving new networks The CW and My Network TV, there are still questions about what Canadians will get when these networks launch in the fall. KTLA-TV and WPIX-TV have announced that they will become CW affiliates. Superstation WGN is just that, an independent superstation. And WSBK-TV, a CBS-owned UPN affiliate, might return to independence, as the station has not yet decided if it will be a My Network affiliate or not. Does this means Canadians will be out in the cold when My Network TV starts in September? Not entirely. According the the CRTC website (http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Notices/2006/pb2006-46.htm), WWOR-TV and WUAB-TV are eligible satellite services that Canadians television service provided can carry. These two stations have announced affiliations with My Network TV when it launches. It’s just that no provider in Canada carries these stations yet.
It’s time for Canadian cable and satellite providers to consider adding any of these two stations to their packages, so that Canadians can enjoy My Network TV when it starts. It’s legal. It’s logical. It can thwart piracy. Let’s not stay out of the cold, like it was with Fox and The WB. Let’s add these stations to the Canadian airwaves!
NOTES: Rogers currently carries WNLO(UPN 23–>CW) and WNYO (WB 49–>My Network TV)

Yeah, but Shaw would never do anything that smart. I wish they could just add one channel that will be part of My Network, or else WSBK better get its act together…
