Astral’s Family Channel today announced the launch of its English-language Playhouse Disney channel on TELUS TV. As of today, TELUS TV subscribers in BC and Alberta, who subscribe to Family Channel, can tune into channel 74 to enjoy a broad range of entertaining and learning-focused children’s programming from Disney, as well as acclaimed Canadian series.

| Providers News: Grace TV now available on Shaw Digital TV |

Grace TV has taken a large step forward. On June 1st, 2009 World Impact Ministries (WIM) purchased The Christian Channel (TCC), the largest 24/7 Christian TV-channel in Canada. At the time of purchase TCC covered 30 % of English Canadian households. The channel was renamed Grace TV in September 2009, and it has added a thousand or more homes every week. Grace TV is pleased to launch on Shaw Digital TV, channel 166.

| Providers News: Videotron adds two channels to its digital service |

Videotron continues to expand its line-up of television channels with the addition of the children’s channel Playhouse Disney and the HD version of the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network – APTN HD, bringing the total number of channels available on Videotron’s digital service to more than 350, including 44 in high definition. The two new channels will be available to all illico Digital TV clients as of January 20.
