This September, Tim Burton's anticipated new feature, Corpse Bride, opens in theatres across North America. o­n Friday, September 23, SCREAM pays tribute to lethal unions with a deadly double bill, featuring the Bride of Frankenstein and Bride of Chucky.

The Shape of Fear – Friday, September 30, 2005

On Friday, September 30, SCREAM pays tribute to honoured Canadian and horror-meister par excellence, filmmaker David “Deprave” Cronenberg, with an evening of some of his best and creepiest work: The Fly (1986), and Videodrome (1983).

Movie Mania – Throughout October

Since it was first introduced in 2002, Movie Mania has consistently made October SCREAM's most-watched month of the year, and 2005 is sure to be no different. For the entire month of October, SCREAM loads the schedule with movies, movies and more movies. This year's Movie Mania titles include: An American Werewolf in London; Kalifornia; Species; Interview with the Vampire; Frankenstein; Friday the 13th;
Evil Dead II and The Running Man.

Salute to Fearsome Females – Throughout November

Each weeknight in November, SCREAM pays tribute to those fearsome females who scare, swear, conquer and kill their way into our hearts. The double bill of deadly dames airs Monday to Friday throughout November, starting at 8 p.m. SCREAM's Salute to Fearsome Females includes The Babysitter; The Temp; Aliens; Fatal Attraction; La Femme Nikita; Dolores Claiborne and The Silence of the Lambs.

You Animal! You Beast! – December 12 to 16, 2005

In December, Peter Jackson releases his ambitious re-make of the hairy horror classic King Kong, and SCREAM salutes the occasion with You Animal! You Beast! This weeklong festival features a double bill of beastly horror films each night. Titles include An American Werewolf in London; Tremors; The Ghost and The Darkness, and two earlier versions of the King Kong tale: the 1933 original and the 1976 re-make.

Jingle Hell – December 19 to 25, 2005

Jingle Hell is SCREAM's antidote to the warm, fuzzy, feel-good fare that's everywhere else this time of year. It's a week packed with films about gremlins, ghosts, psychopaths and even the Devil himself. Scheduled films include: The Omen; Gremlins; Damien: Omen II; The Amityville Horror and Carrie.

Apocalypse New Year – Sunday, January 1, 2006

Is it really the end of the world, or does it just feel that way o­n January 1? o­n New Year's Day, all day long, SCREAM is airing a non-stop feast of doomsday-themed films. Hey, with bloodthirsty zombies, marauding aliens and nuclear warriors threatening the planet, the safest place to be is home o­n your couch! Apocalypse New Year films include Independence Day; Night of the Living Dead; War of the Worlds and Miracle Mile.
